PG Courses of AMUPMDC Maharashtra

June 26: Association of Managements of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges (AMUPMDC), Maharashtra, Shriji House, 75 Mint Road, Fort, Mumbai-400001, has invited applications for admission to the Post Graduate Physiotherapy course and Post Graduate Nursing (M.Sc) Course in the Member Colleges. Selection will be based on Entrance Examinations.

For admission to the Post Graduate Physiotherapy course, the applicant should have passed the final B.PTH course from a recognized Institution and completed internship on or before 31.8.2009.

Prospectus and Application forms for the Entrance Examination for Post Graduate Physiotherapy course can be obtained personally from (i) Ravi Nair Physiotherapy College, Sawangi (Meghe) Wardha (ii) VSPM’s College of Physiotherapy, Hinghna Road, Nagpur (iii) Sancheti Institute of Physiotherapy, Pune and (iv) NDMVP College of Physiotherapy, Adgaon, Nashik, on payment of Rs.500/-, by way of DD drawn in favour of ‘AMUPMDC’ payable at Mumbai.

Forms will also be available from the office of AMUPMDC by Post, on requisition mentioning clearly the name of the course with a DD of Rs.700 drawn in favour of ‘AMUPMDC’ payable at Mumbai.

Examination fee of Rs.1500/- is to be paid by way of DD in favour of ‘AMUPMDC’ payable at Mumbai along with the Application form.

Application forms will be available till 13.7.2009. Last date of submission of application form is 13.7.2009. APGP-CET 2009 will be held from 2 pm to 3.30 pm on 26th July, 2009.

For admission to MSc Nursing Course, applicant should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council. The minimum educational requirement will be a pass in BSc Nursing/BSc Honours Nursing/PC BSc Nursing/Post Basic BSc Nursing from an Institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (5% relaxation in marks for reservation category). Minimum one year of work experience after Basic BSc Nursing. Minimum one year of work experience prior or after PC BSc Nursing/Post Basic BSc Nursing. 

Prospectus and Application forms for the Entrance Examination for admission to Post Graduate Nursing (MSc) Course can be obtained personally from (i) Bombay Hospital College of Nursing, New Marine Lines, Mumbai-20 (ii) Smt Radhikabai Meghe Memorial College of Nursing, Sawangi (Meghe), Wardha (iii) Tehmi Grant Institute of Nursing Education, 13, Tadiwala Road, Opp. Hotel Meru, Pune and (iv) Institute of Nursing Edu AIMS Hospital, Dombivali (E), Thane and from AMUPMDC Office, on payment of Rs.500/-, by way of DD drawn in favour of ‘AMUPMDC’ payable at Mumbai (Rs.200/- extra if by post).

Application forms will be available till 13.7.2009. Last date of submission of application form is 13.7.2009. APGN-CET 2009 will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm on 26th July, 2009.
