Medical PG at JSS Uty, Mysore

Dec 18, 2008: Applications have been invited for admission to various Postgraduate Courses in Medicine and Dentistry at JSS University, JSSS Medical Institute Campus, Sri Shivarathreeswhawara  Nagar, Mysore, Karnataka-570015, for the academic year 2010-11. The courses offered are given below.

Postgraduate Degree & Diploma Courses (Clinical) 

MD:  General Medicine, Paediatrics, Anaesthesiology, MD Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy (Skin & STD), Psychiatry

MS: Ophthalmology, ENT, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics

Diploma: Obstetrics & Gynaecology (DGO), Clinical Pathology (DCP), Child Health (DCH), Orthopaedics (D. Ortho), Anaesthesiology (DA), Otolaryngology (DLO), Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy (DDVL), Ophthalmology (DO), Psychiatric Medicine (DPM)

Postgraduate Degree Courses (Pre & Para-Clinical)

MD: Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine.

Eligibility: M.B.B.S Degree and completion of Internship on or before 31.03.2010

Postgraduate Degree Courses in Dentistry

MDS: Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Medicine & Radiology, Periodontology, Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Paediatric & Preventive Dentistry, Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge, Public Health Dentistry, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics.

Eligibility: B.D.S Degree and completion of Internship on or before 31.03.2010.

Selection for the academic year (2010-11) only will be on merit, based on score secured in COMED-K- PGET 2010. Admissions will be done as per the Supreme Court and UGC guidelines.  Course will be allotted through counseling to be conducted by JSS University at Mysore. Prospectus and application form for admissions can be downloaded from www.jssuni.edu.in

They can be obtained from the Registrar of the University, with a request accompanied by a Demand Draft for Rs. 2,000/-, drawn in favour of JSS University Fee Account, Mysore, payable at Mysore & submitted at University Office.

The last Date for issue of Application forms is 10.03.2010 (Wednesday). Filled in Application forms will be accepted till 5 pm on 10.03.2010 (Wednesday).
Merit list will be available in the website on 22.03.2010 (Monday)
