MBBS, BDS at Dr DY Patil University

Feb 09, 2010 : Applications have been invited for the All India Entrance Tests for admission to the MBBS course at Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune (150 seats) and for the BDS course at  Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College & Hospital, Pimpri, Pune (100 seats), two constituent colleges of the Dr. DY Patil University, Pune.

The Entrance Test would be held on 23rd May 2010 (Sunday), at Delhi, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur & Pune.

Eligibility is H.S.C. or any other examination equivalent to 10+2 HSC examination of any recognized Board/ University after 12 years of study, with 50% in Physics-Chemistry-Biology for General category and 40% for reserved category. 

Candidates who have appeared for or will appear in the respective final qualifying examinations and are expecting the results thereof are also eligible to appear for the Entrance Test. Application Fee is RS.500/- and Examination Fee is Rs.1500/- Information Brochure will be available after 1st March 2010 in the University office and at http://www.dypatiluniversity.org/

Application Form can be obtained from the University office on payment of Rs.500/- by cash or by way of D.D or by Post by sending a requisition letter with name of course, opted for, detailed correspondence address with contact no. and e-mail address, along with a Demand Draft of Rs.600/- drawn on any Nationalized Bank, in favour of ‘Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil University’, payable at Pune.

Information Brochure for MBBS/BDS can also be obtained from selected branches of Andhra Bank all over India as per the list given at the link http://www.dypatiluniversity.org/aiet10/notification1.html It can also be downloaded from http://www.dypatiluniversity.org/ in which case the downloaded form has to be submitted along with a Demand Draft covering Form Fee + Test Fee + Postage Rs.100/-. The last date for submission of filled up application with Fees (as applicable) is 26th April, 2010. It can be submitted with a later fee of Rs.500/- till 17th May 2010.
