MCA at Amrita

Feb 14, 2010 : Amrita Viswa Vidyapeetam, has invited applications for admission to the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course at its Amritapuri, Coimbatore, Kochi and Mysore Campuses. At Amritapuri and Coimbatore it is offered at the School of Engineering while at Kochi and Mysore, MCA is offered by the Schools of Arts and Sciences.

Applicant should hold a BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) or B.Sc or B.Com Degree or any other Degree of three years duration, with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects, from a recognized University, with an aggregate of 60% marks. Those appearing for the final year of the Degree Examination and expecting to score the minimum stipulated mark are also eligible to apply.

Admission is based on performance in the entrance examination followed by interview. The Entrance examination will be conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham on May 9, 2010 (Sunday) at Hyderabad, Mysore, Amritapuri (Kollam), Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Kannur, Coimbatore, Chennai, Salem, Trichy and Madurai. Issue of Application starts on 15th February, 2010. Application form can be downloaded from www.amrita.edu and submitted with a Demand Draft for RS.650/-. Application can be obtained in person from the Admission Coordinator (PG Admissions) of any of the Schools mentioned below on payment of RS.650/-.
