Degree Nursing/Pharmacy at BHU

Feb 28, 2010 : Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221 005, has notified the admissions to B.Sc Nursing at the College of Nursing, Institute of Medical Sciences, B.H.U Varanasi & B. Pharm(Ayurveda) at The Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkacha, Mirzapur District.

Applicant should have passed Intermediate 10+2 or equivalent from the recognized Board/University with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) & English with minimum 50% aggregate marks (PCBE) for General/OBC category and 40% for SC/ST category. Age should be between 17 and 25 years for all categories as on 31.12.2010.

Application form and Information Booklet can be downloaded from www.imsbhu.nic.in or www.bhu.ac.in up to 14.4.2010. In such cases, duly completed application form along with Demand Draft of Rs.600/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of the Director, IMS,BHU payable at Varanasi, should reach the office of the Director, IMS, BHU, latest by 15.4.2010.

Application form & Information Booklet can also be obtained from the Office of the Director, IMS, BHU, Varanasi-221 005 till 25.3.2010, by sending a self addressed unstamped envelope of size 24 cm x 30 cm, along with a letter of request and a DD of Rs.650/- (Rs.550/- for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of the Director, IMS, BHU, payable at Varanasi.

They can be obtained in person from the office of the Director, IMS, BHU, Varanasi-221 005, up to 14.4.2010, on submitting a DD of Rs.600/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of the Director, IMS/BHU, payable at Varanasi.

Last date for receipt of completed application form in the office of the Director,IMS/BHU, Varanasi- 221 005 is 15.4.2010.Selection will be based on an Entrance Test to be held from 10 am to 12 noon at Varanasi on 23.5.2010 (Sunday).
