Medical Admissions at Krishna Institute, Karad

March 4, 2010: Krishnan Institute of Medical Sciences, Karad, Maharashtra, has invited applications for admission to MBBS/BDS/B.P.Th/B.Sc Nursing Courses for 2010. MBBS is offered at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), BDS at School of Dental Sciences, B.P.Th at Krishna School of Physiotherapy and B.SC Nursing at Krishna Institute of Nursing Sciences.

Admissions will be through the Krishna All India Entrance Test (KAIET) 2010 to be held from 2 pm to 5 pm on 20th May, 2010 (Thursday) at Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Karad, Ahmedabad, Surat, Indore, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, and Kottayam (Kerala).

Applicant must be of 17 years of age on or before 31.12.2010 and should have passed Std XII (HSC or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a minimum 50 % marks (for MBBS/BDS only) and English. Those appearing in Class XII or equivalent Examination in March 2010 are also eligible to apply subject to their satisfying the eligibility conditions before counseling.

Application Fee is Rs.500/-. KAIET 2010 Entrance Test Fee is Rs.1000/- Applications will be available from March 20, 2010.

Information Brochure containing Application form can be obtained by Post by sending a DD for Rs.600/- drawn on any Nationalized Bank, in favour of ‘Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences University’ payable at Karad. Application form can also be downloaded from www.kimsuniversity.in. In such cases, the filled application has to be submitted to KIMS University, Karad, with a DD for Rs.1500/-.

Filled in Applications with necessary DD/Documents should reach the University latest by 5th May, 2010.
