Central Sector Scholarship: Application date extended

Kochi, March 4, 2010: Students who could not apply so far for the Central Sector Scheme Scholarship for the academic year 2009-10 and those who had secured 80 percent and above in the examinations conducted by the Kerala Higher Secondary/Vocational Higher Secondary, can apply online for the Central Sector Scholarship till March 12, 2010.

When the students apply for the scholarship they should have an account in any of the branches of State Bank of Travancore. They should also enter the account number and the IFSC Code in the prescribed places in the application form. For details visit the scholarship website of the Education Department at
