COMEDK UG Entrance on May 9

March 09, 2010 : Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) consisting of Karnataka Private Medical and Dental Colleges Association and Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association will hold the Under Graduate Entrance Test 2010 (COMEDK UGET) on 9th May, 2010 at Centres across Karnataka state only. Admissions to Under Graduate Courses in Private Unaided Medical Engineering & Dental Colleges will be through the COMEDK UGET followed by Centralized Counseling.

Applicants should have passed 2nd PUC/12th Std or equivalent examination. Those who have appeared for the examination and expecting results may also apply. Eligibility for MBBS and BDS will be as per MCI (Medical Council of India) and DCI (Dental Council of India) Norms.

Eligibility for BE will be as per AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) Norms. Applications for MBBS/BDS/BE can be filled online from 10.3.2010 at www.comedk.org/ after obtaining a Demand Draft for Rs.700/- for three subjects [PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)] and Rs.900/- for all four subjects (PCMB), in favour of ‘COMEDK’, payable at Bangalore.

The printout of the application submitted online for MBBS/BDS/BE, along with the DD and other documents required, should reach COMEDK, # 37, First Floor, Ramanashree Chambers, Lady Curzon Road, Bangalore, Karnataka-560001 by post only, latest by 17th April, 2010.

Application form will not be sold from COMEDK Office or from any Member Institution. Filled application will not be received directly at COMEDK Office or at any Member Institution. Test Admission Tickets will be despatched by 16th April, 2010. Answer keys will be published on 9th May, 2010 itself. objections relating to answer keys will be accepted up to 14th May, 2010. Test Scores will be published on 26th May, 2010. objections relating to Test Scores will be accepted up to 29th May, 2010. Rank List will be published on 7th June, 2010. Rank Cards will be despatched latest by 17th June, 2010.

For B.Arch, there will be only Centralized Counselling. Facility for submission of Online Applications for B.Arch will be available from 21st May, 2010. Last date for receipt of completed applications for B.Arch will be 24.6.2010.
