PGD & Cert. Courses 2012 at NSI, Kanpur

Kochi, Jan 31, 2012: National Sugar Institute, Kanpur, has invited applications from eligible candidates for the following Post Graduate Diploma and Certificate courses of the academic session 2012-13.

COURSES & ELIGIBILITY:

1. [ANSI (ST)] PG Diploma in Sugar Technology:
BSc with Phy. Chem. & Math or Bachelor Degree in Chem. Engg.

2. [ANSI (SE)] PG Diploma in Sugar Engineering:
Engg. Degree in Mech./ Prod./ Elect./ Electronics/ Instrumentation or A.M.I.E (Institute of Engineers, India).

3. [DIFAT] PG Diploma in Alcohol Technology:
BSc with Chemistry / Applied chem./ Ind. chem. or Bio-Tech or Bio-Chem. as one of the subjects or BTech in Bio-Tech.
Exp: One year experience in a distillery or brewery or in a fermentation industry on any technical post alongwith nomination.

4. [SBCC] Sugar Boiling Certificate Course:
Matriculate/High School with Science / Agriculture
Exp: One season experience of pan-operation in a vacuum pan sugar factory along with nomination.

5. [SECC] Sugar Engineering Certificate Course:
Diploma in engineering in Mech. / Elect. / Electronics/ Instrumentation from a recognized Technical School / Polytechnic alongwith with nomination.

6. [PHCMS] Pre-harvest Cane Maturity Survey Certificate Course:
Intermediate with Science/ Agriculture or equv.
Exp: One year experience in a Sugar Factory laboratory or field work.

Final year appearing candidates may also apply.

Application form can be obtained from the Director, National Sugar Institute, Kalyanpur, Kanpur-208017, UP against Cash payment of Rs.1000/- (For SC/ST Rs.800/-) from 02.04.2012.

If one desires to obtain the application form by post, he should remit Rs.1000/- (For SC/ST Rs.800/-) by DD in favour of “Director, National Sugar Institute, Kanpur”
payable at SBI, Kalyanpur, Kanpur (IFSC Code: SBIN0001962).

Last date for receipt of downloaded print outs of duly filled & signed application forms / filled in offline Application Forms : 12th May 2012 for Online Applications and 1st May 2012 for Off line applications

Date of Admission Test for ANSI (ST), ANSI (SE), DIFAT, SBCC: 17th June 2012 (Sunday) to be held at Kanpur, Delhi, Chennai & Kolkata.
