CUSAT CAT : Admit Cards can be downloaded
Kochi, April 19, 2012 : Applicants can download the admit cards for CUSAT CAT from the website.. Admit cards will be sent by e-mail to all applicants and those who could not access the card can download it directly from the university website http://iraaa.cusat.ac.in/admitcard.php Please use your Registration No. and Date of Birth to download the admit card.(For online registered candidates the Regn No. is the last six digits of the User Name). Lateral entry students can download admit card from the 1st of May, 2012
If the system generated admit card is without the applicant's photograph, a colour photograph must be affixed on the two halves of the admit card and should be signed across in the presence of Centre Superintendent or Observer on the examination day. Similarly, applicant must sign in the space provided on the admit card in case the signature is objected.
Though the University sources announced earlier that the admit cards will be made available by April 10, it took another 10 days for the authorities to make the arrangements.
The common admission test for various courses will be held as follows:
* 5th May : BTech, MSc Photonics, MA Economics, MA Hindi, LL.B * 6th May : MBA, MCA and other PG courses * 13th May : Lateral Entry
Take a print out of this Admit Card and sign and check for the correctness of the photo and signature. Sign the declaration given at the bottom of the admit card. It should also be counter-signed by the parent/guardian.
In case the photo is not approved, paste two clear passport size colour photos in the two halves of the card and sign across it. Report to the Observer/ Centre Superintendent in the test venue sufficiently early on the day of the test and sign in the signature-space of the admit card in his/ her presence before proceeding to the test hall. If signature is not approved sign in the spcae provided in the presence of Observer/Centre Superintendent, as before.
Keep this admit card safe. Without this, students will not be permitted to appear for the test. It will be required also at the time of counseling and admission.
On the day of the test, reach test venue well in advance. (Applicants will not be permitted to enter the hall 20 minutes after the start of the test). Find the class room and be seated comfortably. Follow strictly the instructions of the invigilator. The OMR will be distributed 5 minutes before the start of the test. Darken appropriate circles to mark the Roll No, test code etc and fill up the required details. DO NOT forget to mark the question booklet series code. (A, B, C or D) in the case of test for B.Tech.
Question booklet will be distributed sharp at the beginning of the test time. Note down the question booklet series code and mark it in the OMR . WITHOUT THIS THE ANSWER SHEET WILL NOT BE VALUED AND WILL BE SUMMARILY REJECTED.
The B.Tech test consists of ONE session of 3 hour duration. The question booklet contains 250 objective type, multiple choice questions based on mathematics, physics and chemistry. Each question has four options and the correct choice is to be marked in the OMR by darkening the appropriate circle using a black / blue ball pen. Take immense care in marking the options as answers once marked CAN NOT be corrected. Each correct answer carries 3 marks and wrong answer carries -1 mark.
The OMR will have a carbonless copy that can be taken by the candidates at the end of the test. For this the narrow portion marked at the top is to be cut along the dotted line with the help of invigilator.
The attendance is to be marked by signing and fixing the thumb impression in the attendance sheet. The question booklet series code is to be written in the attendance sheet before signing. |
