Allahabad University LAT on June 1
Kochi, April 20, 2012: Applications have been invited by University of Allahabad and its constituent Colleges namely C.M.P. and A.D.C. for admission to First Year LL.B (Three Year - Semester system) Degree course through a Joint Admission Test to be held on 1 June, 2012 (Friday).
Eligibility for the Admission to LL.B : Graduation with at least 45% marks (but 40% for SC and ST Candidates) in Arts / Commerce / Science / Agriculture / Engineering or Medical Faculty. Candidates who have appeared in their aforesaid graduate examinations and whose result is awaited may also appear in the Test but if they score lesser percentage of marks in their eligibility examinations they will be ineligible for admission. Only Foreign National and NRIs who have graduated from a foreign University are exempted from appearing in the Admission Test. They should contact directly to the undersigned for admission.
Age : For General Category, a candidate seeking admission to LL.B Course must not be more than 30 years as on 1st July, 2012. For SC/ST/OBC Categories, a relaxation of 5 years in age is permissible as per rules.
Prospectus can be obtained from HDFC Bank on payment of Rs. 600/- (Six Hundred Only) (Rs. 300/- for SC/ST, Physically Handicapped candidates) till 10th May 2012 on all working days between 10.00 AM and 2.00 PM. Duly filled application forms can be submitted at the specified counters of Law Faculty, Chaitham Lines, Allahabad University on all working days from 11.00 AM to 2.00 PM till 10 May, 2012 (upto 4.00 PM on the last date). Duly filled applications can also be submitted on-line at: http://www.auadmission.co.in
Admit Cards will be made available only on-line from 15 May ,2012. For Online Registration, candidates can deposit fee through DRAFT drawn in favour of "Finance Officer, University of Allahabad", payable at Allahabad or can download the CHALLAN of HDFC BANK from the website and fill it up correctly by mentioning all the required details. The bank account number LAT-2012 has to be clearly mentioned along with the applicable fee which is Rs. 600./- in case of General/OBC candidates and Rs. 300/- in case of SC/ST/PH candidates. The completed challan along with the fees can be deposited at any of the branches of HDFC BANK.
