Ab-initio to CPL Course at IGRUA, U.P.

Kochi, April 29, 2012: Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi, Fursatganj Airfield, Raebareli (U.P.) has invited applications for admission to Ab-initio to CPL Course with Ground and flying training for issue of  CPL with Multi-engine endorsement and Instrument Rating (IR) on Multi-engine Aircraft.

Eligibility :
Candidates should have passed 10 + 2 or its equivalent with Physics, Maths & English as main subjects with minimum qualifying marks as below:

General Candidates : (i)  Passed English at 10+2 level AND (ii) Minimum 55% Aggregate Marks in Maths & Physics.
SC / ST / OBC Candidates : (i)  Passed English at 10+2 level AND (ii) Minimum 50% Aggregate Marks in Maths & Physics.

For Candidates (of all categories) possessing higher qualification with Maths and Physics as subjects, minimum qualifying Aggregate marks in Maths & Physics are 50% at 10+2 level.

Age Limit :  
Minimum age limit for above course is 17 years at the time of joining the course.
 
Medical :
Selected candidates will have to submit Class-I Medical Fitness Certificate before joining. List of Centers for Class-I medical is available at : http://www.dgca.nic.in/medical/c1exam-ind.htm

Selection :
Selection procedure consists of Written Test, Pilot Aptitude / Psychometric Test , Viva  and Interview :
Written Test will be held at allotted centers on 1st July 2012 (Sunday) from 10:00 hrs onwards.  Examination Centres : (i) Delhi  (ii) Hyderabad  (iii) Kolkatta  (iv) Lucknow  (v) Mumbai  (Option for  two centers  is  to  be  given, first and second choice).

Interview and viva for all successful candidates in Written Test will be conducted at IGRUA, Raebareli from  16th July 2012 onwards.

Documents to be attached  along with Application Form :
Candidates applying off line must submit the following Documents along with the application :
(i) Two Recent passport size photographs (One pasted on Application Form and the other enclosed) with name written at the back.
(ii) Non-refundable Application fee of Rs. 6,000/- by Demand Draft in favour of 'Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi' drawn on any nationalized / scheduled Bank payable at Raebarely.
(iii) SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
