MPharm at Tamil Nadu Private Professional Colleges
Kochi, May 3, 2012: Applications have been invited by Tamil Nadu Private Professional Colleges Association - Health Sciences (TNPPCA-HS) for admission to MPharm degree (2012-13 session) in unaided Private Colleges in Tamil Nadu through Entrance Examinations.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should possess a BPharm Degree awarded by the Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University or any other University recognized as Equivalent thereto by the Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University / Pharmacy Council. Candidates who have qualified from other Universities should obtain and produce an Eligibility Certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University at the time of admission.
Candidates seeking admission to the Postgraduate MPharm Degree course should have obtained not less than 50% of the total marks obtained in all semester subject marks taken together in the BPharm Degree course. In case of failure(s) the pass marks in the subsequent (attempts) shall be taken for calculation purpose. Number of attempts are not considered for calculation of marks.

Candidates seeking admission to Post Graduate MPharm Degree course should submit the Application Form in original with necessary enclosures should reach The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Private Professional Colleges Association - Health Sciences, Prasanna Enclave, No: 30, Bharathi Avenue IInd street, Kotturpuram, Chennai - 600 085 on or before 18th May 2012 by 5.00 pm.
Candidates must enclose only attested Xerox copies (not originals) of the following documents in the order indicated below along with the application, failing which the application is liable for rejection.
a. BPharm Degree Certificate or provisional pass certificate from the University concerned to which the college is affiliated.
b. First year / Semester to final year / Semester BPharm Mark sheets issued by the University concerned.
c. Permanent Registration Certificate of the State Pharmacy Council of the BPharm Degree.
d. Birth Certificate or copy of HSc Certificate / School Leaving Certificate / College Leaving Certificate as evidence for Date of Birth.
e. Attempt Certificate in Final Year BPharm course from the Head of the Institution studied in.
Examination Fees:
The Candidate should send a Demand Draft of Rs.1,000/- for Examination fee drawn in favour of 'TNPPCA-HS' payable at Chennai along with the application form.
The candidates using the downloaded application form shall send Rs.1,500/- Demand Draft along with the application form.
Conduct of Examination:
(a) The Entrance Examination will be conducted only at Chennai.
(b) The Examination will commence on 27th May2012 at 10.00 am to 11.30 pm.
(c) The Results will be published within two days after the commencement of Entrance Examination.
