Sports Category Admission at Jamia Millia
                                                                   
Kochi, May 10, 2012: Jamia Millia Islamia, Jamia Nagar, New Delhi-110025 has invited applications for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate courses under Sports Category . Candidates should be outstanding sportspersons having represented India / states / universities / region in different games.

Admissions are open in all professional & non-professional courses barring those in Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Dentistry and Centre for Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Science. At present, sports admissions are confined in the following games only :
Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Shooting (Air Pistol & Air Rifle), Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball & Weight Lifting/Power Lifting.

However, outstanding national / international level sports persons may be considered for admissions in other individual events as well.

Interested candidates can apply on the prescribed application form available at the Office of Games & Sports, University Sports Complex, Jamia Millia Islamia, Jamia Nagar, New Delhi-110025 on all working days from 10th May, 2012 between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm.

The last date for application submission is 20th June, 2012.
