Integrated MA / MSc / MTech at Bharathidasan Uty

Kochi, May 25, 2012: Bharathidasan University, Trichi has invited applications for admission to the following UG regular programmes of the Academic Year 2012-13.

COURSES AND ELIGIBILITY :

* 5 year Integrated MA & MSc Programmes :
(I) History : Plus Two or Equivalent
(II) Bio-Medical Science : Plus Two or Equivalent with Biology / Botany & Zoology as principal subjects and with adequate knowledge in Chemistry and Physics.
(III) Life Sciences : Plus Two or Pre-Degree of the State Board / 12th Standard of CBSE with Biology / Botany & Zoology, Physics and Chemistry as the subjects.

* 6 year Integrated MTech Programmes :
(I) Bio-Informatics : Plus Two or Equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science / Biology.
(II) Bio-Technology : Plus Two or Equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany / Zoology).
(III) Computer Science & Engineering : Plus Two or Equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science.
(IV) Geo-Technology & Geo-Informatics : Plus Two or Equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Computer Science.

ADMISSION :
Objective type entrance test both in Tamil and English followed by personal interview. The Tamil Nadu Government rules of communal reservation and reservation for differently abled candidates will be applied in the selection of candidates

APPLICATION :
Application form and Prospectus can be had from the Registrar on payment of Rs.300/- by sending a Demand Draft obtained from any Nationalized Bank payable at Tiruchirappalli (drawn in favour of "Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli") on or after the date of advertisement. Demand Draft for Rs.150/- for SC/ST Candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu on production of Xerox Copy of the Community Certificate. Name and Address of the applicant and the course applied for should be mentioned on the reverse side of the Demand Draft. Those who want to receive applications by post must enclose a self-addressed envelope (size 30cm x 25cm) stamped to the value of Rs.20/-. Application form can also be downloaded from www.bdu.ac.in in which case, the cost of application form Rs.300/- (for SC/ST Candidates Rs.150/-) should be sent by way of DD while submitting the filled-in application form.

Last date for application submission is 04-06-2012.

Date of Entrance Examination for 6 year Integrated MTech Programme (All Branches) is 09.06.2012 (11 am)
