CUSAT : Option Regn before CAT

Kochi, June 04,2012: The option registration for CUSAT BTech admissions will begin even before the entrance examination this year. As per the schedule this year's option registration process is slated to start on 5th June. The CUSAT CAT which had been postponed due to Hartal last month is gong to be held on 10th June 2012. Though the CAT is being held late, the results of it will be published on 18th June 2012.

The option registration will continue till 20th of June and the first allotment will be announced on 21st June. Those who get admission in the first allotment will have to report for admission at the allotted centre on 28th or 29th June. Second allotment will be made on 1st July and those who get allotment has to report for admission on 4th or 5th July. The third allotment will be made on 7th July and the allotted students have to take admission on 10th July.

The NRI Sopt admission will be made on 13th July. After three allotments there won't be any online allotment. From July 16 to 23 there will be real time direct admission subject to availability of seats. This real time admission is meant for those with ranks from 6000 to 28,000. If seats are vacant , there will be a spot admission on 25th July.

BTech Marine Engg admissions will be done on 11th and 12th July. BTech Lateral entry admissions are slated be done on 2nd and 3rd of July. MCA Counseling will be held on 22nd and 23rd June and the PG counseling will be held on 25th and 26th of June.

Option registration for BTech Lateral entry and PG admission will be from 5th to 15th June.
