PG admissions at TN Agricultural Uty
Kochi, June 6, 2012: School of Post Graduate Studies, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore has invited applications for admission to Post Graduate Programs of the Academic Year 2012-13.
PG programs offered :
i. Masters program in 40 disciplines
ii. PhD program in 27 disciplines
Eligibility for Master / Doctoral programs :
Masters program : Graduates who have completed four years degree program in any one of the State Agricultural Universities / Colleges affiliated to State Agricultural Universities alone are eligible to apply for masters.
Doctoral programs :
Candidates who have studied four years degree program and two years masters program in any one of the State Agricultural Universities / Colleges affiliated to State Agricultural Universities alone are eligible to apply for doctoral programs.
Minimum OGPA /Aggregate requirement :
Masters / Doctoral Programs : A candidate who has undergone course credit system with a minimum OGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or 7.00 out of 10.00 or 70% aggregate alone is eligible to apply for various Masters and PhD programs. However, for SC/ST candidates a pass in the qualifying degree is sufficient for all programs.

All applicants should download the application from : http://www.tnau.ac.in/pg12/PGApplicationform2012.pdf .After filling up, the applications must be sent to the Dean, School of Post Graduate Studies, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore 641003, Tamil Nadu.
A demand draft (DD) for Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST) per subject drawn in favour of Dean (SPGS), TNAU, Coimbatore payable at State Bank of India,TNAU Branch, Coimbatore - 3, should accompany the applications.

Doctral Programme - 20-07-2012
