MBA, MTech (CS) and  ME (WC) at MIT, Mesra

Kochi, June 9, 2012: Applications have been invited by BIT-Mesra for admission to MBA, MTech (CS) and  ME(WC) Slow Paced Programme 2012 – 2013.

Eligibility Criteria:

MBA :
* Graduate (10+2+3) in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in honours aggregate. Candidates of other graduate courses must  have minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in average in graduation, marks to be computed as average of marks obtained in ALL subjects in which candidate has appeared (excluding optional subjects).

* Qualification acquired through correspondence / distance-learning programme are eligible only if they acquire such qualifications as working professional / while in employment and the programme is recognized by AICTE and / or UGC.

* At least one year's experience for working professional.

* Fresh graduates without experience and having valid CAT 2011 / CMAT 2012 score may also apply.

MTech (Computer Science) :
* BE / BTech in Computer Science / IT / Electronics Engg. / Electrical Engg or equivalent / MCA / MSc in Computer Science or Equivalent from a recognized University with Minimum 60% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate.

* Qualification acquired through correspondence / distance-learning programme are eligible only if they acquire such qualifications as working professional / while in employment and the programme is recognized by AICTE and / or UGC.
* At least one year's experience.
* Freshers without experience may also apply.

ME (Wireless Communication) :
* BE / BTech / AMIE OR Equivalent Degree in Electronics Engg. / Electronics and Telecommunications Engg / Electronics and Communication Engg. They must have first class or 60% marks minimum (45% for SC / ST).
* Qualification acquired through correspondence / distance-learning programme are eligible only if they acquire such qualifications as working professional / while in employment and the programme is recognized by AICTE and / or UGC 
* At least one year's experience.
* Freshers without experience may also apply.

How to Apply :
To apply for any of the programmes listed above, eligible candidates must download and print the application form available at : www.bitmesra.ac.in, and send the completed form along with two recent colour photographs (one pasted on the form and one attached by clip to the form), and a crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 2,000/- (Rs. 1000/- for SC/ ST) (non-refundable) in favour of Birla Institute of Technology, payable at Kolkata, in a stout A4 size envelope by Speedpost / Registered Post / reliable courier to the office of In Charge, Birla Institute of Technology, Kolkata Campus, Southend Conclave, 4th Floor, 1582 Rajdanga Main Road, Kolkata – 700 107 positively by the due date. The envelope must be superscribed MBA – 2012 (for MBA), MTech – 2012 (for MTech) and ME – 2012 (for ME).
