PhD Chemistry at Delhi Uty: Apply by June 30

Kochi, June 11, 2012: Applications on prescribed form are invited by Delhi University for admission to PhD programme in Chemistry on the basis of Entrance Examination 2012.

Candidates should have a good academic record with a first or high second class Masters Degree (minimum 55% marks in MSc for unreserved category and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates) in any science subject from a University / Institute recognized by the University of Delhi.

Application form can be downloaded from : http:// www.du.ac.in or collected in person from the office of the Head, Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi, Delhi – 110 007. Application should be sent to The Head, Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi by 30 June, 2012 alongwith a State Bank of India bank draft of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST Candidates) in favour of "The Registrar, University of Delhi". Application should be sent by registered post. Local students can submit the application in a sealed envelope to the office of the Department. The envelope should be marked "PhD Admission – 2012".

Scholarship : All students admitted to the course shall be given a scholarship of Rs. 5000/- p.m. , subject to the rules of the university in this regard.
*  Last Date for application submission : 30 June, 2012
* Date of Entrance Examination : 10 July, 2012 (10 am) at the Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi.
