BEd (SE) at TN Open Uty
Kochi, June 17, 2012: Applications have been invited by Tamil Nadu Open University for admission to Distance Mode BEd (SE) course of Academic Year 2012-13:
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates should have passed the UG Degree Examination from any UGC recognised University in the 10+2+3 stream or 11+1+3. Candidates who have a direct UG degrees without +2 qualification / Post-Graduate degrees without a UG degree are not eligible.
Admission will be done on the basis of the Score obtained in the Entrance Examination conducted by TNOU Reservation of seats for candidates belonging to SC / ST, SC (Arunthathiyars), MBC / DNC, BC - O (Except Muslims), BC - M (Muslims only), OC communities and handicapped (both physical and visual) will be made as per the rules and regulations of Government of Tamil Nadu.
Application:
The cost of Application form for Entrance Examination is Rs.500/-.
The Application form and Prospectus can be directly obtained in person either from the University Office, University Coordinating Centres (UCC) or BEd (SE) Study Centres, by way of Cash, Demand Draft for Rs.500/- drawn in favour of 'Tamilnadu Open University' payable at Chennai.
Those who wish to get the Application form and Prospectus by post should send a Demand Draft for Rs.550/- drawn in favour of 'Tamilnadu Open University' payable at Chennai to 'The Registrar, Tamilnadu Open University, No. 577, Anna Salai, Saidapet, Chennai-15.'
The filled-in application form (OMR Sheet) for Entrance Examination, degree consolidated mark sheet with provisional certificate / degree certificate (Photostat Copy) along with duly filled-in acknowledgement card affixed with postage of Rs.6/- are to be kept in the TNOU’s printed cover (A4 Size brown) and this should be mailed to the following address so as to be received at the University Office on or before 04.09.2012.
