Master/PG Diploma at Tripura University
Kochi, June 27, 2012: Applications in prescribed form are invited by Tripura University for admission to the following Master Degree and Post Graduate Diploma Programmes during the academic session 2012-13.
1. MA & MCom Programmes: Bengali, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Economics, Education, Fine Arts (Paintings & Sculpture), History, Music (Dance & Classical Music), Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology and Commerce.
2. MSc Programmes: Botany, Chemistry, Geography & Disaster Management, Human Physiology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistic and Zoology.
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s degree with Honours / Major subjects of a recognised University under 10+2+3 pattern of education are eligible to apply for admission in their respective subjects / courses of study. Candidates passed without Honours / Major with minimum 45% of marks in aggregate and in the subjects sought for admission are also eligible to apply for admission(40% marks in case of SC / ST / PH) For M.Sc programmes. Candidates passed without Honours / Major with minimum 50% of marks in aggregate and in the subjects sought for admission are also eligible to apply for admission(45% marks in case of SC / ST / PH).
3. PG Diploma Programmes: Bamboo Cultivation & Resource Utilisation, Kok‐Borok, Rubber Technology and Tribal and Ethnic Studies.
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s degree of a recognised University under 10+2+3 pattern of education with minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in the respective discipline are eligible to apply for admission(40% marks in case of SC / ST / PH).
Application:
Forms can be obtained in person from the respective Departments and during summer vacation from Academic Section in the Administrative Building on payment of Rs.10 only in cash or though University Bank Challan / Bank Draft in favour of 'Registrar, Tripura University' payable at State Bank of India, Tripura University Campus Branch.

Last date of submission of duly filled-in application forms along with self-attested Xerox copies of all required documents to the respective Departments and Academic section in the Administrative Building during summer vacation is on. (Extended date) 2nd July 2012 Duly filled-in application can also be submitted through speed post.
