Job Oriented Regular Courses at MKU
Kochi, August 4, 2012: Applications have been invited by Madurai Kamaraj University for admission to following five years full time integrated job oriented regular courses of Academic Year 2012-13.
- Masters in Film and Electronic Media Studies
- Master of Tourism and Hotel Management
Eligibility: A pass in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) / Intermediate Examination or its Equivalent.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 21 years as on 1st July 2012. For relaxation refer prospectus.
Spot Admission Centers
Madurai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkatta, Mumbai, New Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram, Cochin, Chandigarh and Ahmedabad.
Applications:
Filled-in application should be submitted in the following Spot Admission Centers on or before the last date ie 16.08.2012
The candidates have to submit Xerox copies of the following certificates duly attested by a Gazetted Officer along with the application form:
i) SSLC, HSE mark statement
ii) Community Certificate obtained from Tahsildar/ Deputy Tahsildar concerned. Otherwise it will not be taken into account.
iii) Income Certificate obtained 3 months prior to the date of advertisement (for SC / ST / Blind candidates only) from the competent issuing authority.
iv) Certificate of Physically Handicapped / Leprosy cured: Candidates who want them to be considered under the Physically Handicapped category should submit the certificate obtained from an authorized Medical Officer of the specialty concerned not below the rank of Civil Surgeon together with photograph showing the nature of handicap.
v) Military Certificate: Certificates to be produced
vi) Sports Certificate: Candidates who want them to be considered under the Sports category should produce the relevant certificate for having represented the State / Nation / athletics.
vii) Two self-addressed, stamped envelopes, each for Rs.10/- should be enclosed
viii) +2 marks statement (compulsory)
ix) A Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Madurai Kamaraj University, payable at Madurai towards registration fee as prescribed by the University should be enclosed with each application.
SC/ST candidates are exempted from the payment of Registration Fee for any one course only. For additional course applied, Registration Fee should be paid. However they should send the Photo Copy of the Community Certificate along with the application. All the candidates of Other States are treated as Other Category (OC).
