KEAM 2012: Third allotment announced

Kochi, Aug 05,2012: The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations has announced the third phase of allotment to Professional Degree Courses 2012 today by 12 noon on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in. The details of allotment will be available on the home page of the candidate. The candidates should take print out of the third phase allotment memo and submit it before the college authorities at the time of admission.
Those candidates who receive allotment shall remit the fees/balance fee/ deposit payable to CEE if any, as specified in the third phase allotment memo at designated branches of State Bank of Travancore (SBT) on 06.08.2012 or 07.08.2012 in order to accept the allotment.
All candidates who have received allotment through centralized allotment process and have remitted fees payable in SBT shall report for admission in the respective colleges as per the admission schedule already published in the website, along with the third phase allotment memo, data sheet and originals of all documents specified in Clause 11.7.1 of the prospectus. Candidates who have received allotment for admission to MBBS Course should submit a bond as specified in G.O(Ms)No.533/08/H&FWD dated: 07/10/2008 at the time of admission, in the prescribed format available on the website.
Those candidates who do not remit the fee/balance fee/deposit or do not join the respective institutions within the stipulated time will lose their allotment and also higher options. They will be out of the entire allotment process. All Colleges should furnish the non-joining report to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations at 5.30 pm on 08.08.2012.
If candidates who have taken admission in Private Self financing Engineering Colleges as per the third phase of allotment, wish to cancel their admission and opt out of the allotment process they can submit their ‘request for cancellation’ online through their homepage after clicking the “KEAM-2012 Allotment cancellation” link from 07.08.2012 to 09.08.2012.
A print out of the online cancellation request has to be taken, signed by the candidate and parent, attested by a Gazetted Officer and forwarded to the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram-695 001, so as to reach the office before 5.00 pm on 09.08.2012 by speed post or by hand delivery. Such candidates will lose their current allotment and all higher options and will not be considered for the 4th allotment.
Request or cancellation received by fax or email will not be considered on any account. Request for re-consideration of allotment or options lost consequent to cancellation also will not be considered. No cancellation is permissible to students allotted to Private Self-financing Engineering Colleges after 09.08.2012.
The allotment to Private Self-financing Engineering Colleges will come to an end with the 4th Phase of allotment scheduled on 14.08.2012. Candidates allotted to the Private Self-financing Engineering Colleges as per the 4th phase allotment should compulsorily take admission in the allotted Colleges. If they do not take admission, they are liable to be penalised as per Clause 12.2.4(c) of Prospectus 2012.
The activities relating to the fourth phase of allotment will commence on 11.08.2012. The website will be opened for rearrangement of options from 11.08.2012 to 5 pm on 12.08.2012.
