KEAM: Only Marginal drop in MBBS LR

August 6, 2012: As per the third allotment to Professional Degree Courses, Kerala, announced on 5th August, 2012, candidates with rank up to 490 have got allotment for MBBS in Government Medical Colleges in the state. This position was 483 in the second allotment. In the Government Controlled and Private Self Financing categories, the last rank for MBBS in State Merit in the Government Quota seats have come down to 694 and 1685 respectively after the third round, as compared to 689 and 1674 respectively in the second round.

In the Management seats at CMC, Kochi, the last allotment has gone to rank 2710. It was 2629 in the second allotment.

The last ranks state wide for the other Medical Courses in State Merit, after the third allotment are as follows.

Government (G): AA – 3645; AF -3883; AV- 2844; BA- 3207; BH-5021; FR- 3560; MD-1647

Govt Controlled: (N): MD – 1892

Private Self Financing (S):  BA – 5699; BS -6202; MD -3536

In the Engineering stream, Mechanical Engineering continues to be the most demanded branch in Government/Aided Colleges with the last SM allotment going to rank 2439.
