UG NRI admission at UAS, Bangalore

Kochi, Aug 10,2012 : Applications are invited by University of Agricultural Sciences, bangalore for admission to the following Professional and Technical Under-Graduate Degree Programmes in the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore under NRI quota for the Academic Year 2012-13.

1. B.Sc.(Agriculture), 2. B.Sc. (Sericulture), 3. B.Sc. (Forestry), 4. B.Sc. (Agricultural-Bio-Technology) 5. B.Sc.(Agricultural Marketing & co-operation, 6. B.Tech.(Agricultural Engineering), 7. B.Tech.(Food Science & Technology)

Academic Eligibility: Courses 1-4:  Applicant should have passed two years Pre-University course or 10 + 2 level or 12 years schooling with (50%) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) (50% and any other optional Science subject

Courses 5-7: Applicant should have passed two years Pre-University course or 10 + 2 level or 12 years schooling with (50%) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) (50% and any other optional Science subject

Reservation of Seats: I. Fifteen per cent of seats reserved over and above the intake of given degree programme to NRIs/Children of NRIs/ candidate sponsored by NRI .
II. NRI candidate / NRI sponsored candidate means; “he or she could be Indian citizen or NRI sponsored NRI”.
III. Candidate Should have studied in English medium at higher secondary or at 11 &12 standard level or English proficiency could be evidenced by producing certificates like, ELTS or TOFEL

Application and fee: Application shall be submitted through online only. However, a copy of the printed version shall also invariable submitted by post along with the educational documents including health certificate (HIV test certificate) and DD on or before 18-08-12 date to the Registrar, UAS. GKVK, Bangalore-65.

The application fee is Rs.1000/- payable in the form of Demand Draft only drawn in favour of the Comptroller, UAS, Bangalore, payable at Bangalore.
