KEAM 2012 : Fourth phase from tomorrow

July 17, 2012 : Commissioner for Entrance Examinations has notified the Schedule of the fourth phase of allotment for admission to Professional Degree Courses -2012. Accordingly, activities related to the fourth phase will begin on 18.08.2012.

Candidates will get the facility to re-arrange / delete their higher options, if desired, through the website
www.cee.kerala.gov.in on 18.08.2012 and 19.08.2012.   

The fourth allotment will be published on 21.08.2012, on the basis of options in the Home Page of candidates at 5 pm on 19.08.2012.

Those who receive allotment/re-allotment in the fourth phase should take a print out of their allotment memo and remit the fees/ balance fees payable to the CEE, in one of the designated branches of the State Bank of Travancore (SBT) on 22.08.2012 or 23.08.2012. The list of designated branches of SBT is available at
www.cee-kerala.org  

All candidates who have an allotment/re-allotment as per the fourth round should join the allotted colleges on 22.08.2012 or 23.08.2012. They should report for admission to the Principal of the allotted colleges along with their fourth phase allotment memo, Data Sheet of KEAM 2012 and originals of all documents specified in Clause 11.7.1 of the prospectus.

The fourth phase of allotment will be the final allotment to Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges. Those getting allotment to Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges should compulsory join the allotted colleges. Their higher options will not be considered in future allotments.

Candidates who, after retaining their higher options, do not take admission in the allotted Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges if allotted and candidates who discontinue from Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges after the fourth phase of allotment are liable to pay the liquidated damages as laid down in Clause 12.2.4 of the Prospectus.

Candidates retaining unnecessary higher options, in colleges which they do not wish to join, will be liable to pay penalty as per Clause 12.2.4(c) of the Prospectus. See the full Notification at www.cee-kerala.org/docs/keam2012/cap/fourth/4thphase_option_enoti.pdf
