PhD Business Management at Calcutta Uty
Kochi, August 17, 2012: Department of Business Management, University of Calcutta has invited applications for admission to PhD Programme in Business Management.
Eligibility:
1. Candidates must have completed their Post Graduate Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Commerce, Social Sciences, Humanities (excluding Fine Arts & Dramatics), Physical Sciences, Law, Library Science, Technology, Medicine or allied disciplines
a) from University of Calcutta or
b) from other UGC recognized Universities with equivalence clearance from the Registrar’s Office, University of Calcutta.
2. Candidates who are exempted from Written Test under the ‘Regulation for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy, PhD Regulation 2009’ of Calcutta University are required to obtain equivalence clearance from the Registrar’s Office, University of Calcutta.
3. Minimum 55% marks in Post Graduate Degree is required.
Application Process:
1. All candidates (including those in exempted category) are required to Down Load the Application Form from the web Site: www.caluniv.ac.in and Departmental Website:
www.bmcaluniv.org and submit the same to the Office of the Head on or after 7th August, 2012 and on or before 12th October, 2012.
2. The Equivalence Clearance from Registrar’s Office, University of Calcutta is required to be submitted at the Head’s Office, Department of Business Management on or after submission of the Application Form and on or before 21 November, 2012.
Other Information:
1. List of eligible candidates for PET: Written Test will be displayed on the Notice Board of the Department and on the website: www.bmcaluniv.org on 2nd November, 2012 after 3 p.m. No personal intimation will be sent to any applicant.
2. Date, Time & Venue of Written Test: 7th November, 2012 at 12.00 noon in the Alipur Campus, University of Calcutta, 1, Reformatory Street, Kolkata –700 027.
3. List of eligible candidates for interview will be displayed on the Notice Board of the Department and on the website: www.bmcaluniv.org on 27th November, 2012 after 3 pm.
4. Date of interview: 30th November, 2012 from 11 am onwards.
