KEAM : Fourth allotment published

Kochi, August 20,2012: The fourth allotment for admission to Kerala Medical/Engineering Professional Degree Courses 2012 has been published today, one day ahead of the pre fixed date of 21st August . The results can be accessed through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in. This allotment is  based on options prevailed at 5.00 pm on 19.08.2012.

The fourth allotment will be the final allotment to Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges. So candidates getting allotment to Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges should compulsory join the allotted colleges. Candidates who, after retaining their higher options, do not take admission in the allotted Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges and candidates who discontinue from Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges after the fourth allotment are liable to pay the liquidated damages as laid down in Clause 12.2.4 of the Prospectus. The higher options of candidates who join Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges will not be considered in future allotments.  Candidates retaining unnecessary higher options, in colleges which they do not wish to join, will be liable to pay penalty as per Clause 12.2.4 (c) of the prospectus.

Candidates who receive the fourth allotment shall take a print out of their allotment memo and remit the fees/ balance fees payable to the CEE, in one of the designated branches of the State Bank of Travancore (SBT) on 21st, 22nd & 23rd August 2012. The list of designated branches of SBT is available on the website of CEE.

All candidates who receive the fourth allotment should join the allotted colleges on 22.08.2012 or 23.08.2012. They should report for admission to the principal of the allotted colleges along with their fourth allotment memo, Data Sheet of KEAM 2012 and originals of all documents specified in Clause 11.7.1 of the prospectus. Balance fees to be remitted in the college, if any, should be remitted at the time of admission. Candidates who receive their higher options in the fourth phase of allotment, should get the T.C. from their present college and join the newly allotted college on the specified dates. The principals of the colleges should compulsorily relieve such students by giving their T.C. and also return the original certificates and all amounts collected from them.

The principals of colleges should forward the non-joining report to the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations online and its signed printout by fax before 5 pm on 24.08.2012. The candidates who fail to join other colleges on the scheduled dates will lose their allotment and all their higher options. They will be removed from the entire allotment process.
