Puducherry govt plans to set up film institute
Puducherry, August 24, 2012: Puducherry Government was planning to set up a film institute here soon, Chief Minister N.Rangasamy today said.
The government was in the process of locating the site for the proposed institute, he said inaugurating the centenary celebrations of Indian Cinema here.
He stressed the need for encouragement of good films. The three-day centenary celebrations are being marked by screening of three films a day. |
