Training to unemployed to improve vocational skills Kakinada, Oct 19 2012: Regional Joint Director of Intermediate Education N V Tirumalacharyulu today said the central government had selected Andhra Pradesh for launching a special training programme aimed at improving the vocational skills among educated unemployed, as a pilot project.
At a press conference held at Government Junior College Rajahmundry, he said as many as 30,000 unemployed youth from Andhra Pradesh, including 2,500 youth from East Godavari who had failed either 10th class or Intermediate, would be selected under this programme.
The training at field level would be given at various institutions like banks, industries, LIC, auditing ad accounting. After completion of the training, evaluation will be done to the candidates. Job fair will be conducted for providing placements to the candidates. |
