Spanish language courses for Keralites Kozhikode, Oct 24 2012: A Spanish government organisation will impart Spanish language lessons to Keralites soon. A collaboration agreement was signed recently in New Delhi between Instituto Cervantes, a Spanish government organization and the Kozhikode-based Ma'din Academy to impart Spanish language courses in Kerala.
The Instituto Cervantes is a non-profit organization founded by the Government of Spain in 1991. Its mission is to promote Spanish language teaching as well as that of Spain's co-official languages, in addition to fostering knowledge of the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries throughout the world.
According to the agreement signed by both parties, Instituto Cervantes will offer Spanish language courses from basic level to advanced at Ma'din Spanish Academy at Malappuram by employing native Spanish teachers. This is the first initiative in Kerala to teach Spanish from authentic sources. |
